Why did we want to upgrade our digital directory platform?
Envent has developed a lot of “industry first” modules across multiple industries for close to two decades. One of our prime motivators for transitioning to a web based platform, was the opportunity to utilise the webs flexibility and scalability of the latest development frameworks.
We commenced the re-engineering of our Envention navigation platform in 2018 and are preparing for our first live of Envent.Cloud in August 2020. This new version is the culmination of two years of planning and five months of intense development from our software team.
Envent.Cloud is our new web based system, encompassing Envent’s previously feature rich capabilities,. This platform will allow clients to expand their wayfinding strategy, to now encompass a range of different customer facing channels, website, digital directory and mobile applications.
Envent Cloud is a completely self-managed solution with a single CMS and database can serve multiple functions, allowing more efficiency, cost savings and a streamlined digital channel with feature rich analytics.
