Gap Analysis:

Accor had been running Envent's self-service check-in solution since 2010. When Accor HQ in Paris moved the IBIS Budget brand to a new property management system, FOLS, the existing hardware and software needed a full redesign to accommodate the new interfaces, payment flows and card encoding capabilities. Envent was the natural choice to rebuild it.

Project Summary:

Envent designed and built a new generation self-service check-in kiosk for Accor's IBIS Budget Hotels, engineered around the CICO 22 platform. The brief came directly from Accor's Paris headquarters: redesign the complete check-in experience to work with the new FOLS property management system, with updated payment and card encoding capabilities. Envent delivered an end-to-end custom solution, combining a 22" portrait ELO HD LED display, 60mm thermal printer, card encoder, EFTPOS terminal and industrial CPU in an indoor/outdoor rated enclosure, running on a redesigned version of Envent's TouchCheck software. The project extended a partnership that began in 2010 and demonstrated Envent's ability to deliver bespoke self-service hardware for global hospitality brands.
