Chatswood Interchange needed outdoor digital wayfinding in its public thoroughfare to serve both commuters and shoppers. Envent delivered custom Sabre 55" Dual Outdoor directories with architecture-matched aesthetics and a full outdoor-rated hardware specification.

Sabre 55" Dual Outdoor; dual 55" HD 2000 NIT LCDs, PCAP touchscreens, Intel CPU hardware, integrated airconditioning, amplifier and sound system, custom illumination
Chatswood Interchange sits at the intersection of retail and public transport, with a mix of commuter foot traffic and shoppers moving through the outdoor thoroughfare daily.
Standard indoor directories weren't suited to the environment. The client also needed the hardware to integrate visually with the design language specified by the incumbent architects, which meant a custom aesthetic brief on top of the outdoor engineering requirement.
Envent designed and installed custom outdoor digital directories for the public thoroughfare at Chatswood Interchange Shopping Centre.
The Sabre 55" Dual Outdoor units were specified with dual 55" HD 2000 NIT LCDs for full sunlight readability, PCAP touchscreens, Intel CPU hardware, integrated airconditioning for thermal management, an amplifier and sound system and custom illumination.
The wayfinding software was customised to match the aesthetic guidelines supplied by the incumbent architects. The system runs Envention Wayfinding Suite throughout, allowing commuters and shoppers to search for shops and amenities across the precinct.
