Model/ Hardware:

Sabre 42" dual outdoor; dual 42" HD 2000 NIT LCDs, PCAP touchscreens, Intel CPU, integrated air conditioning units, outdoor-rated enclosure

Gap Analysis:

Harbourtown Adelaide is an open-air outlet centre — no roof, no climate control, full sun exposure. Wayfinding hardware placed in the public thoroughfare had to be readable in direct daylight, weatherproof year-round, and thermally managed in South Australia's heat. Standard indoor hardware was not an option.

Project Summary:

Savills and Airport West commissioned Envent to design and install outdoor digital directories across Harbourtown Adelaide's open-air retail precinct, giving shoppers and commuters a clear way to find stores and amenities throughout the centre. Each unit was built on the Sabre 42" dual outdoor platform, featuring dual 42" HD 2000 NIT LCD panels for full-daylight readability, PCAP touchscreens, Intel CPU hardware and integrated air conditioning units to manage thermal performance in SA's outdoor climate. The system ran on Envent's Envention wayfinding and media scheduling platform, configured for the Harbourtown precinct layout.
