Sydney University, NSW

The University of Sydney Law Department needed a digital wayfinding solution for their newly constructed building. Envent delivered bespoke 26" freestanding kiosks with an integrated intercom system, letting visitors call staff and locate facilities directly from the directory.

Model/ Hardware:

Customised Envent freestanding 26" wayfinder kiosks; proprietary enclosures designed specifically for the project

Gap Analysis:

The University of Sydney Law Department was opening a new building and had no wayfinding infrastructure in place.

A standard off-the-shelf directory wasn't going to work for a legal faculty environment where visitors often need to reach specific staff members rather than just navigate to a floor.

The brief called for a solution that could handle both location finding and direct staff contact from a single touchpoint.

Project Summary:

Envent designed and installed a bespoke digital wayfinding solution for the University of Sydney Law Department's newly constructed building.

The system went beyond standard directory functionality by integrating an intercom system into each kiosk, allowing visitors to call staff and confirm facility locations directly from the touchscreen.

Proprietary 26" freestanding wayfinder kiosks were custom-designed for the project and run Envention's digital wayfinding platform throughout.
