What started as a single trial kiosk in the Emergency Department grew into a wayfinding network across the Randwick health precinct, covering Prince of Wales, Royal Hospital for Women, the Private Hospital and main Hospital locations.

Prince of Wales Hospital is a 440-bed major public teaching hospital in Randwick, the anchor of a large health precinct serving Sydney's eastern suburbs.
Navigation across multiple connected hospital buildings and campuses was a known problem for patients and visitors. South Eastern Sydney Local Health District wanted to test digital wayfinding in the highest-pressure entry point first: the Emergency Department.
South Eastern Sydney Local Health District commissioned Envent to trial a digital wayfinding kiosk in the Emergency Department of Prince of Wales Hospital.
The trial worked. The deployment expanded to cover Royal Hospital for Women, the Private Hospital and main Hospital locations across the Randwick precinct, establishing one of Envent's longest-running hospital partnerships.
Envent supplied indoor Arrow 32" and Sabre 42" freestanding directories running the Envention wayfinding, advertising and SMS content platform, with industrial CPUs, PCAP touchscreens, ventilation and lockable enclosures throughout. The relationship has continued to evolve, with Compass Kiosk v2 deployed at the site in 2024.
