An outdoor directory built for a 3000mm hinged door and Australian weather. Nobody else was solving for that.

UoN needed one directory design that worked indoors and outdoors, across multiple campus environments, while matching the sizing and plinth style of existing signage already on site.
The real problem was the door. At 3000mm, this was Envent's largest hinged door build to date. That meant designing a weatherproof cabinet and locking system strong enough to hold a door that size, in an outdoor setting, without compromising the look.
Envent won a competitive tender to design and deliver indoor and outdoor digital directories across UoN's campuses. Builds used stainless steel enclosures, 55" ultrabright outdoor LCDs, 6mm toughened glass, PCAP touchscreens, fibre connectivity, and RFID electronic locking.
